i guess i am one of the last people on the planet to get one of these things. before reading audre lorde i never thought i was important enough to broadcast my brain farts to the entire world, but as andre 3000 says "today i may snow, tomorrow i rain." (back to a lorde) she is amazing. AMAZING!!! in the cancer journals, she writes about the damaging effects of silence. she insists that freedom is the manifestation of allowing one's self to be heard. (deep shit, huh!) i would throw a direct quote up here, but i don't want to go to jail for some copyright infringement crap.
